FAQ

Do I need a referral?

No. You can attend sessions without a referral from your GP.

Is there anyone you don’t work with?

Although I have experience working with people across the lifespan, at this time I do not see:

  • Individuals under the age of 18

  • Individuals experiencing acute psychotic symptoms

What should I expect from my first session?

Your first session is where we will develop an understanding of your current situation and difficulties. This session is where you get a chance to tell your story and identify goals going forward. Once some goals have been established, future sessions will be more structured and goal focused.

I need to cancel my session, what do I do?

You can cancel your session up to two days in advance with no cancellation fee. If your session is cancelled less than 48 hours before your session, you will be charged 50% of the fee full fee. If you cancel 24 hours or less you will be charged 100% of the session fee. The rationale for this is that if you cancel on short notice, another client cannot book in at that time.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions needed can vary depending on your individual goals and the challenges you're facing. Some people find that a few sessions are enough to gain clarity and make progress, while others may benefit from longer-term support to explore deeper issues or navigate significant life changes.

We’ll work together to set goals and regularly review your progress. This allows us to adjust the frequency or focus of our sessions as needed. Ultimately, you are in control of the process, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
