About me

Hi, I’m Una, a Counsellor based in Sydney, originally from Ireland. I’ve called Australia home since 2011, and I understand firsthand the complex emotions that can come with living far from your homeland—whether it’s a sense of disconnection, identity shifts, or navigating life’s challenges without your usual support network.

My personal journey, including the ups and downs that come with major life transitions, has shaped the compassionate, non-judgemental approach I bring to counselling. I know what it’s like to feel uncertain or overwhelmed, and I believe in the power of being truly heard and supported through those moments.

I work from a person-centred and solution-focused framework, meaning I’ll meet you where you’re at—with empathy and respect—and help you find practical ways forward, at your own pace. Whether you’re building confidence, working through self-esteem issues, or just need a safe space to talk, I’m here to support you.

In person or online sessions available in Sydney CBD or Surry Hills.
